Park Elektrik obtained operation license of copper mine located in Siirt and belonged to Eti Holding A.Ş. at the cost of TRL 7.9 million and completed its investments and started to extract copper in the last quarter of 2006. The Company still exports entire of its production.
Our Company extracts 1 million tons/year of pit-run copper in the relevant zone, with an estimated reserve of total 13 million tons and processes the same at its concentration facilities. Annual maximum capacity of the concentration facility is for 100,000 tons of concentrate copper production. Our Company sells the copper in concentrate form and does not process copper for purification. The concentrate copper sold contains 20-24% pure copper.
